I was astounded when I first read On His Terms, such a captivating and powerful novel that made me rethink my own relationships, past and present. I fell in love with David Blackwood and how he was portrayed as a powerful, dominant man. Anastasia Hill writes very compelling novels and it’s such a joy to read them, the characters were really relatable in a lot of ways.

Romance novels are often very much formulaic, but reading through Anastasia Hill’s trilogy has left me spellbound. Her stories are such a breath of fresh air compared to what I’ve seen in romance novels lately, characters that are actually more than just creatures bound by their sexual desires and her characters are three-dimensional and complex, which I enjoy the most about her work.

I loved reading through the first part of the trilogy. On his terms, it was full of twists and turns as the story progressed. At first, I hated Samuel but grew to like him more as the story progressed. Anastasia Hill really knows how to humanize such complex characters, whereas other authors would fail miserably. Anastasia is great at writing amazing stories.
